For those who couldn’t attend the field trip to California State University San Jose, how do you think exploring college film programs and facilities could impact your understanding of film production and career opportunities?
Exploring college film programs and facilities could impact my understanding of film production and career opportunities through being able to get well versed in a more "advanced" viewpoint of the field. All teachers, equipment, methods, and classes are different so you can get a different outlook on it from one teacher and classroom vs another type. If a teacher has one method of teaching film you will learn that way but if you go to another school with another teacher, you will learn a different way. It's all a subjective way of learning and depends on their methods and how that will impact you is up to you and the way you interpret their teaching.
