Shot Lists

 What is a shot list?  Why is it so important?

    A shot list is a list of shots (crazy i know) you want in your project to give you an insight and an organized outline of the kind of shots you want. To make a shot list you should go through your script scene-by-scene and list the shots that you want in that scene. When making your shot list you should group together the shots for your characters to have a better organization. It's important because once you actually begin shooting it takes up less time because you have a set idea of the shots you want and how you want them, it makes it easier for everyone working with you because you aren't wasting their time scrambling around figuring out shots.
