Montage Techniques

What are three concepts from this article that you can incorporate into your future montage edit?  Why did you pick these three?  How can you apply them in the edit?

The three concepts and techniques of editing a montage that I could and SHOULD incorporate into future montage edits were; cutting into action, link scenes, and an l cut. I picked cutting into action because to me it is the smoothest way to cut into a scene, with cutting into action it helps the viewer not notice the cut because of the action aiding a smooth transition. Link scenes are also a smooth way of cutting and doing a transition because it adds context to the montage to prevent confusion for the audience so they stay immersed into the world you have built. L cuts I liked because it can be used with the previous two techniques to make it even more smooth. I could apply all of these in an edit to make my work smoother and keep the world I am trying to build consistent.
